Shawarma: Similar to döner kebab, it is popular in the Middle East and the Mediterranean. It is prepared with lamb, chicken or beef marinated with a mixture of typical spices of the region, such as cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and paprika, roasted on a vertical spit. Served in pita bread with salads and toum sauce or tahini.

Gyro: Similar to döner kebab and shawarma, it is popular in Greece and other parts of the Mediterranean. It is prepared with meat roasted on a vertical spit and served in pita bread with salads and sauces, often accompanied by French fries.

Lahmacun: There are those who include Lahmacun in kebabs, but technically it is not, although it shares some characteristics, such as meat and spices.
