It’s a delicious and original recipe that I am offering you today. If for you broccoli is steamed and that’s it, let me tell you that this is going to change 😀. Here, you have lots of flavors, perfumes and a little air from elsewhere.
For the Peanut butter, I suggest you choose “crunchy” rather than smooth. The small pieces of peanuts bring even more deliciousness in my opinion. You will find them in supermarkets (world products section), in world grocery stores (often on the Indonesian or African products side)
here is recipe :
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 500 g of broccoli (1 head)
- 1/2 bell pepper red
- 1 small onion white
- 1 clove ofgarlic
- 2 tablespoons of peanut oil
And for the sauce:
For the finish:
Preparation
Cut the stem of the broccoli, remove the florets and wash them. Cook them for 5 minutes in the microwave (in a steam basket for me).
Meanwhile, wash and cut the red pepper into strips, peel and chop the half onion, peel the garlic and cut it into cubes. Coarsely crush the peanuts
Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, put the peanut butter then add the vinegar, soy sauce and sugar. Mix well then add the diluted cornstarch.
Pour the peanut oil into a wok or in a frying pan. Heat and add the pieces of pepper, onion and garlic. Cook for 8 minutes over medium heat then add the broccoli. Continue cooking for 2 minutes then pour in the sauce. Mix, cook for 1 additional minute and just before serving, sprinkle with the crushed peanuts.
Delicious !
Enjoy your food !
